Everything in the box, shaped for the way teams work
Every module is included in one licence and runs on your servers. For each project you switch on only the modules it needs, so the team sees and uses only what it needs.
Plan
Spaces, projects, epics and sprints form the structure in which the team plans and organises its work.
A permanent working environment for each team or product
A space brings related projects together in one place. Each project has its own work item types, workflows, estimate scale and roles, and can switch on only the modules it needs. The project key, PAY for example, forms the work item numbers, and the old numbers keep working after the key is changed.
- Ready for work as soon as it is created
- Built-in and customisable project roles
- An archived project becomes read-only
Track
Boards, saved filters and detailed search let you find what you need quickly and keep up with the work.
Boards that update in real time
Kanban and Scrum boards with swimlanes, colours, quick filters and a detail panel for viewing and changing work items without leaving the board. The rest of the team sees every change at once.
Capacity, not guesswork
Availability, absences and public holidays let you plan the sprint by the real capacity of the team. The sprint view also shows the load of each team member at a glance.
Saved filters and bulk changes
Save the filters you use most, share them with the team and pin them for quick access. Select several work items and change them all at once.
Gantt and calendar
Plan work on a timeline that takes dependencies, working days and absences into account. The plan exports to MS Project XML or CSV.
Search by conditions
- status changed to Blocked in the last 14 days
- AND the assignee is me
- AND the epic is PAY-12 or PAY-40
Build searches from conditions with AND, OR, brackets and the change history. You pick the field, the condition and the value from lists in the advanced search; there is no query language to learn. Every condition runs directly on your own database.
Automate
Build workflows, define rules and automate repetitive work with no monthly limit on runs.
Draw
Build the workflow visually, from statuses and the transitions between them. A work item moves only along a defined transition, and actions that are not allowed are blocked at once.
Guard
Define conditions and checks for every transition: required fields, roles and linked work items. The rules are saved together with the workflow.
Automate
Build rules that run on a change, on a schedule, at an SLA threshold, on a Git event or an incoming webhook. Automation can post to Slack or Teams, send an e-mail, call a URL, log work or create a file in Google Drive. Protection against loops and runaway runs is built in.
Support
Handle customer requests in one place, with a support portal, SLA deadlines and a separate e-mail address for the Help Desk.
Agents handle tickets and keep to SLA deadlines
First-response and resolution deadlines are calculated on the business calendar and are visible to customers as well. Internal notes stay with the team, while public replies go to the requester.
- Canned replies and automatic assignment by request form
- SLA calendars with your public holidays
- A Gmail or IMAP mailbox for each Help Desk that turns e-mails into tickets
Customers have a support portal of their own
Customers submit tickets and follow them in a help center that carries your company's visual identity. Organisations let colleagues at the same customer share tickets.
- A help center with your logo, banner and colours
- Request forms for each Help Desk
- Help Desk reports and SLA widgets for managers
Collaborate
Documents, notifications and check-ins sit right where the work happens. The most common actions work from the keyboard too.
Documents
Create formatted documents with version history, approvals, templates, public links and PDF export.
Inbox
All notifications in one place, with digests and the option to mute what you do not need.
Check-ins
Ask the team a regular question about how the project is going. The answers are kept with the project, so anyone can see the current status.
Mentions and watchers
Mention colleagues in a conversation or add them as watchers, so that they receive the notifications that follow.
Attachments and rich text
Add tables, code, images, files and mentions to descriptions and comments.
Command palette
Do the most common things from the keyboard. Press C, for example, to create a new work item from anywhere.
Administer and secure
Security and governance for organisations with high requirements, built into GoProject and included in the licence.
LDAP and Active Directory
Synchronise users and groups automatically or on demand. Group mapping and sign-in with the directory account are supported, with local accounts kept as the fallback.
Google, Microsoft and OIDC
Sign in with Google, Microsoft or another OpenID Connect provider. User accounts can be created automatically by e-mail domain.
Two-factor authentication and password policy
Extra protection with an authenticator app or codes by e-mail. Define password requirements, lockout after failed attempts and a forced password change.
Immutable audit log
See who did what, when and from where. Audit entries cannot be changed, and they export to a SIEM as JSON Lines.
Permission check
Pick a user and an action to see which rules allow or deny it. You can also view the system as a given user; that access is recorded in the audit log.
Module management
Switch on only the modules each project needs. Modules that are switched off are available neither in the interface nor in the API.
Your brand
Use your logo, colours and favicon across the whole system, the sign-in page included.
Three languages
Each user chooses English, Latvian or German. Status names can be localised as well.
E-mail and diagnostics logs
Administrators see the e-mails that were sent and the diagnostics of the system.
Integrate
Connect GoProject to the tools you already use, through the API, webhooks, Git, chat platforms, Google Drive and data import.
REST API
A versioned REST API with one error format. Service accounts and personal access tokens can be given scopes and an expiry date.
Webhooks and chat
Incoming webhooks can start automation rules, and outgoing ones call external URLs or post to Slack and Microsoft Teams.
GitLab, GitHub and Bitbucket
Link branches, commits and merge requests to work items. Git events can also change their status automatically.
Google Drive
Connect Google Drive to a project and link files to work items. Automation rules can also create files for you.
Import from other systems
Import data from Jira Cloud, Jira Server and Data Center, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Planner, OpenProject and Redmine, and from CSV files.
Calendar feed
A private iCal link adds due dates and sprints to Outlook or Google Calendar.
