How the licence works
Four simple rules, so that everything is clear before the contract is signed.
All prices are in EUR, excluding VAT. Public-sector framework pricing is available on request.

Pay for the year or by the month
The licence for the chosen package is bought for a year. GoProject Cloud can also be paid monthly, but paying for the year costs less. Each package covers a set number of users; there is no separate charge per user.

Everything is included
Every package has every module, every update released during the licence period, and the interface in English, Latvian and German.

Move to a larger package at any time
You can move to a larger package whenever you need. You pay only the price difference for the days left in the licence period. The end date of the licence stays the same, and the new key is available at once.

A smaller package from the next renewal
You can move to a smaller package on the next renewal date. Until then the current package stays in force, and the fee for the unused period is not refunded.
Frequently asked questions
Who counts as a user?
Every active account in the "Licensed users" group, administrators included. Help Desk customers who submit requests through the portal or by e-mail, and deactivated accounts, are not part of the user count.
What happens when the package becomes too small?
GoProject does not let you exceed the number of users in the package. Existing users keep working, and new ones can be added once a seat is freed or you move to a larger package. You can do that at any time, paying only the price difference for the remaining days. If fewer than 30 days are left in the licence, the difference goes on the renewal invoice.
What does the licence include?
Every module, every update released during the licence period, and the interface in English, Latvian and German. There are no add-ons or modules to buy separately: everything is included in the licence price.
How do we start with GoProject Cloud?
Choose a GoProject Cloud package, create an account in the customer portal and pay by card or by invoice. There is no server to install: we take care of running the system, the updates and the backups.
Can we try it before buying?
Yes. A trial licence is available for 30 days with no limit on the number of users. On the website you can also try a public demo environment right away. If you want to get to know GoProject in depth, we can arrange an individual demonstration.
What hardware do we need?
GoProject Cloud needs no server of your own: we run the infrastructure. On your own server GoProject can run in a Docker or Kubernetes environment, or be delivered as a JAR file. The exact server requirements depend on the number of users, the load and the chosen deployment, so we agree them for each customer's environment.
Where is the data kept?
It depends on how you run it. Installed in your data centre or private cloud, GoProject keeps all data in your infrastructure. In GoProject Cloud the data is kept on servers we run. Either way we access it only when you grant access for support.
Can we pay monthly, or per user?
GoProject Cloud can be paid every month by card, but the year costs less. GoProject on your own server is licensed for a year. Each package covers a set number of users. The price per user is shown only to compare offers.
And if we need fewer seats?
You can move to a smaller package at the next licence renewal. If you move to a package with fewer users, you have 14 days after the renewal to bring the number of active users down to the new package's limit. The smallest on-premises package is sized for 50 users. GoProject Cloud packages start at 10 users. If you need something else, contact us and we will look at the options together.
What happens when the licence expires?
For the first 14 days the system keeps working as usual, and administrators see a notice that the licence has ended. After that the system switches to read-only: users can sign in and view information but cannot make changes. Once the licence is renewed, the system works in full again.
Does the system need to contact the vendor?
When GoProject runs on your own server, no connection to the vendor is needed. The system needs no connection to our infrastructure or to the internet to run, so it can be used in a closed network as well. External connections are made only if you choose to use integrations such as Slack, Teams or Google Drive.
How do we move from another system to GoProject?
The import wizard brings in data from Jira Cloud, Jira Server and Data Center, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Planner, OpenProject and Redmine, as well as from a CSV file. Before the move you can review the configuration, map users and fields and check how the data will be transferred.
