If you only read the site, it stores nothing in your browser.
01
Introduction
This cookie policy explains how LTECH, SIA, registration number 40003826013, Ieriku street 3-201, Riga, LV-1084, Latvia (LTECH or we), uses cookies and similar technologies on the website https://goproject.lv (the Site).
It is to be read together with the privacy policy, which describes in detail how we process personal data and what your rights as a data subject are.
We deliberately use cookies minimally: only those the Site needs to work and, with your consent, the counting of visits, which itself sets no cookie. Advertising or targeted marketing cookies are not used on the Site.
02
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file the browser stores on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember your actions and choices for a while, for example that you are signed in.
Alongside cookies the Site may use similar technologies, such as the local storage of the browser. In this policy the word "cookies" covers those equivalent technologies too.
Cookies can be first-party, set by the Site itself, or third-party, set by another provider. The Site sets first-party cookies only.
03
Why we use cookies
We use cookies and the local storage for two purposes:
- To keep the Site working: so that you stay signed in to the customer portal, and so that the Site remembers the choices you made yourself, such as the theme, your recent searches, the e-mail for signing in, your answer about the statistics and the answers of a partner application you have not sent yet.
- To understand how the Site is used: which pages are read and where visitors come from. This happens only with your consent, without cookies and on our own server.
We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or targeted marketing.
04
Cookie categories
The list is complete: an automated test checks it against the code of the Site.
Strictly necessary
Keep the customer portal and the way into the demo working and cannot be switched off. They are stored only when you sign in or create an account; a visitor who only reads the Site never receives them.
- Name:
gp-portalCookie
What it is for: Keeps you signed in to the customer portal, so you do not enter your password on every page. Scripts cannot read it. It is removed when you sign out.
How long it stays: Up to 24 hours
- Name:
gp-demo-signupCookie
What it is for: Set only when you create an account on the way to the demo: it remembers that you registered in this browser, so the confirmation link opens the demo straight away. Removed once the demo opens.
How long it stays: Up to 3 days
Your choices
Stored only after something you do, and kept in your browser. The server of the Site never receives them.
- Name:
gp-themeLocal storage
What it is for: Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. Saved when you press the theme switch.
How long it stays: Until you clear it
- Name:
gp-search-recentLocal storage
What it is for: Your last five searches on this site, so the search box can offer them again. Saved when you open a search result.
How long it stays: Until you clear it
- Name:
gp-login-emailLocal storage
What it is for: Your e-mail address for the sign-in form, so you do not type it every time. Saved only when you tick "Remember my e-mail on this device", and removed when you untick it. Your password is never saved by the Site.
How long it stays: Until you clear it
- Name:
gp-partner-applicationSession storage
What it is for: The answers of a partner application you have not sent yet, so reloading the page does not lose them. Kept only in this browser tab and removed when you send the application or close the tab.
How long it stays: Until the application is sent or the tab is closed
- Name:
gp-buy-orderSession storage
What it is for: The order on the purchase page you have not sent yet, so reloading the page does not lose it. Kept only in this browser tab, and deleted when you send the order or close the tab.
How long it stays: Until the application is sent or the tab is closed
- Name:
gp-statsLocal storage
What it is for: Remembers your answer to the notice: count your visits or not. Saved when you answer in the notice or on this page; after that time we ask again.
How long it stays: Up to 180 days
Analytics cookies: none. Visits are counted without cookies, as described under "Visit statistics", and only after your consent; the one thing stored is your answer, listed above.
05
Visit statistics
To understand which pages are read and where visitors come from, we count page views with a tool called Umami that runs on our own server. The data is not passed to any third party.
The statistics work without cookies and store nothing in your browser but your answer to the notice.
What we record
- The address of the page you visit and the campaign marks (utm) in it.
- The website and page you came from, without the search query.
- The browser, the operating system, the kind of device and the language, which the browser itself sends with every request.
- The country and the city, worked out from a shortened IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.
- Steps on the way to a request, such as a click on "Book a demo" or a form that was sent. What is written in a form never reaches the statistics.
Visits within one month are linked by a random code calculated from the shortened IP address and the description the browser gives of itself. It changes every month, and it cannot be used to find out who you are or to recognise you on other websites.
06
Consent and its withdrawal
On your first visit you see a notice at the bottom of the page. Until you make a choice, nothing is counted and nothing is sent.
Counting starts only when you choose "I agree" in the notice. If you choose "I do not agree", it stays off. The necessary session cookie and your own choices need no consent (section 7.1, part two, of the Latvian Information Society Services Law); we ask for consent for the counting alone.
Your choice is kept for up to 180 days, about six months, after which we ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing is as simple as agreeing: use the panel below or clear the local storage in your browser. After a withdrawal nothing more is sent; what was counted before is not affected. A browser that sends "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" is neither asked nor counted.

The session cookie is not shown here because scripts cannot read it. Signing out of the portal removes it.
07
Third-party services and data transfers
The visit statistics are produced by Umami, a tool that runs on our own server; Umami the company receives nothing. The Site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embedded content, and the check that protects the forms against spam runs in your browser and stores nothing in it.
No data from your browser is passed to any other company. What happens with the data you type into a form, and with whom it is shared, is described in the privacy policy.
The Site links to other websites, for example the LTECH website, LinkedIn, Google Maps, WhatsApp and the GoProject demo environment. They open only when you click them, and the rules of those websites apply there.
08
Managing cookies in the browser
Besides the panel on this page, you can manage or delete cookies and the local storage in the settings of your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before they are stored.
If you block cookies, the public Site works as before, but you cannot sign in to the customer portal. If you clear the local storage, the Site returns to the light theme, forgets your recent searches and asks about the statistics again.
09
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the tools we use or the legal requirements change. The current version is always on this page, with the date at its top.
If a change is substantial and concerns the counting of visits, we will ask for your consent again.
