Move everything. Lose nothing.

A migration is judged by what arrives, not by what leaves. The importer writes your configuration first, then the work, and tells you what it could not read. Nine sources run through the same wizard today, each with an honest note on what it carries.

Seven steps, configuration before content.

Most importers move work items and call it done. The years of work are in the configuration, so the wizard writes that first and lets you undo it until the first item lands.

  1. 01

    Connect

Site address and a token or API key, or a CSV file. An administrator token reads the most.

  2. 02

    Scope

Which source projects go into which GoProject space.

  3. 03

    Preview

Fields as the source uses them, with a check for values you would otherwise lose.

  4. 04

    People

Match, create or skip each person. Help Desk customers are marked.

  5. 05

    Mappings

Types, statuses and fields matched to existing ones or created new.

  6. 06

    Configuration

Writes the structure. Undo is one action until the first item moves.

  7. 07

    Run

Moves the items in the background with progress, pause and resume.

Rebuilt from Jira

  • Spaces and projects
  • Work item types
  • Statuses that are actually used
  • Workflows per type
  • Roles with people and permissions
  • Boards and columns
  • Custom fields and options
  • Versions, components and link types
  • Help Desk forms, customers and organisations

Content that moves from Jira

  • Descriptions, ADF to rich text
  • Comments with internal notes
  • Attachments and work logs
  • Watchers and participants
  • Sprints and epics with colours
  • Parents and links
  • Story points and start dates
  • Board rank

What is not moved from Jira, and why

  • SLA definitions from Jira Service Management: the API does not return them
  • JQL filters, dashboards, automation rules and notification schemes: better rebuilt than translated badly
  • Confluence pages: there is no Documents import
